Aim

The main aim of the AGROPATH project is to enhance geomatics-based and digital education approaches for precision agriculture in Ukraine and Moldova by modernising higher education systems, strengthening institutional capacities, and developing human resources.

Objectives

To achieve this aim, the project focuses on the following objectives:

  • Modernisation of curricula
    To integrate geomatics and digital technologies into precision agriculture programmes in partner universities.
  • Development of educational modules
    To design new and update existing learning modules related to geomatics applications in agriculture.
  • Strengthening institutional capacity
    To establish and modernise laboratories for precision agriculture and geomatics.
  • Creation of an open learning environment
    To develop a multilingual digital environment with accessible learning materials based on EU experience.
  • Capacity building and training
    To improve digital skills and employability through short-term training courses for students, academic staff, and external target groups.
  • Professional development of academic staff
    To organise intensive training programmes in EU partner universities and transfer advanced knowledge and technologies.
  • Student engagement and internationalisation
    To involve students through seasonal schools and guest lectures, promoting innovation and intercultural learning.
  • Dissemination and sustainability
    To ensure long-term impact through active engagement of stakeholders, digital environment, and continuous knowledge exchange.
